Over the years bull elk have become leery of call; especially when the elk sneak in where those sweet chirps and cow calls are, but there isn't a cow in sight. The Elk Decoy can help draw and hold that bull's attention away from you, more than long enough to pull, aim and get the shot of a lifetime! This Cow Elk Decoy is revolutionizing the way hunters look at decoys. With a design that is lightweight, durable, and extremely fast; plus, it is easy to set up. This decoy is a necessity to take into the field with you. The Elk I is a great decoy for all elk hunting purposes. If hunting by yourself, set the decoy to the side and behind you once you have an idea of where the bull is coming from. Try to setup next to trees to conceal your movement when you draw. Remember to keep the wind in your favor. If you have a partner to call for you, he can setup near the decoy and try to lure the bull by you for a shot. These decoys can also be used at water holes if using a tree stand or ground blind. If you choose not to use the leg poles, place a fish wire on the decoy and hang up in a tree limb or bed near a bush.

The Elk Rump is suggested for densely wooded areas. Especially with setting up on game trails, the elk rump works fantastic. It will naturally draw elk closer as they see an elk moving away and want to catch up. If you are hunting with a partner one of you should call and hold the decoy. As the elk comes closer and catches a glimpse of the decoy the caller/decoy should back away drawing the elk past the bow hunter. The elk will lock–in on the decoy and not be expecting any danger from where another elk just walked. If you plan to be in a tree stand, it is suggested to set it just off the main game trail 30–40 yards away and on the opposite side of the game trail. That way, when an elk comes down the trail, he will be looking away from you when you draw and take the shot.
